Nick is a highly skilled engineer, mixer and producer and his vast experience places him at the forefront of the film score and classical music world. In 2008 he recorded and mixed Dario Marianelli’s score for Atonement, which went on to collect an Oscar for Best Original Score. Other landmark projects include recording Bear McCreary’s BAFTA Games Award winning score God of War: Ragnarök, recording and mixing Oscar and BAFTA-nominated scores for How to Train Your Dragon and its sequel, Kubo and The Two Strings, as well as recording Jonny Greenwood’s score for Phantom Thread. More recent Film and TV projects Nick has worked on include recording and mixing the score for much loved musical sequel, Wicked: For Good, a continuation of his long-standing working relationship with composer Volker Bertleman on his score for A House of Dynamite, and working with Anthony Willis recording and mixing his score for Emerald Fennel’s Wuthering Heights. Additionally, Anthony Willis’ score for Saltburn, which Nick recorded and mixed at AIR Studios, won Score Recording of The Year at the MPG Awards 2025.
