Tuto Ferraz is a Brazilian drummer, music producer, and sound engineer known for his unique fusion of jazz, funk, soul, and Brazilian music. Active since the mid-1990s, he studied Composition and Conducting in São Paulo and completed his training at the Musicians Institute in California. As the founder and leader of Grooveria Electroacústica, he has built a solid career blending sophisticated arrangements with powerful grooves and danceable energy.
In addition to his work as a drummer, Tuto is a respected producer and mixing/mastering engineer, having collaborated with prominent Brazilian artists such as Seu Jorge, Fernanda Abreu, Max de Castro, Banda Black Rio, and Amanda Magalhães. His expertise in the studio is matched by his ability to craft vibrant live performances, whether leading Grooveria or his own jazz-based project, the Tuto Ferraz Quinteto.
